Job description

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious, hard-working laborer to join our elite team. Learn and grow with us. We promote from within, provide great benefits, and treat our employees like family. 

This position requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew.

Responsibilities: 

  • Install interior piping - flanged ductile iron, PVC glue-joint, copper and stainless steel press-fit.
  • Concrete hammer drilling for anchor installations.
  • Rigging and large/heavy material movement using material handlers and cranes.
  • Complete installations using layout and instructions provided by Field Manager.
  • Scaffold erection, manlift operation, working at heights and within fall protection.
  • Concrete demolition using air and electric tools.
  • Metal and pipe cutting using abrasive blades on grinders, portabands, etc.
  • Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies. 
  • Cleans tools, materials, and work areas. 
Hourly Range:
• $25.00 - $28.00, based on experience.

  • 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
  • GED/High School diploma or related work experience.
  • Trade School a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
