You'll gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world projects that support our crude gathering operations. Durations are negotiable, and rotations will take place during the fall, spring, and summer months following a traditional University curriculum.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Create a bill of materials and develop a scope of work for construction projects based on standard drawings and templates.
  • Review typical engineering drawings such as construction isometrics, process, and instrumentation, and process flow diagrams for accuracy.
  • Tabulate pressure drops through standard equipment designs to assist the operational group with troubleshooting activities.
  • Seek input from the construction team to refine construction manuals as needed.
  • Work with the field operations team to document best practices for common maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct engineering studies for system optimization projects.
  • Develop standard cost metrics per project based on typical project variables utilizing historical spending data.
  • Develop cost-tracking tools for active projects to assist with cost management.
  • Further the design of data management storage and process systems for individual assets.

Education
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a degree in related engineering field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum)
Experience
โ€ข 1 - 2 years related work experience professional-level experience preferred
