Job Overview:ย Reporting to theย Vice President of People and Culture and working closely with Senior Payroll Benefits Specialistย You'll be involved in:

  • Embodying Four Rivers Co-operative values: Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence
  • Working co-operatively with team members who deliver legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel "at home here."
  • Promoting our Co-op brand values: Locally Invested, Community-Minded, and Lifetime Membership Benefits
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including employee updates, timesheet verification, and payroll reporting.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, coverage changes, and employee support.
  • Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare payroll and HR-related reports and provide administrative support to the payroll function.

  • 1-3 years of Payroll experience is preferred
  • Possessing a certificate in Payroll is considered an asset
  • You are flexible and calm when managing tight deadlines, competing tasks, and changes
  • You have the ability to perform at a high level of integrity and confidentiality
