Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UI/UX & Visual Designer (Mid-Level) based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to shape high-performing digital experiences across content-rich websites, landing pages, and conversion-focused digital products. You will combine strong UI/UX expertise with visual and graphic design skills to create engaging experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop. The position sits at the intersection of design, user experience, content, SEO, and conversion optimization, giving you a direct influence on digital performance. You will translate business requirements and CRO hypotheses into intuitive, visually compelling solutions. You will also contribute to design systems, brand assets, A/B testing concepts, and marketing materials across multiple digital projects. The environment values ownership, curiosity, continuous improvement, and thoughtful use of emerging AI tools to accelerate the design process.

Accountabilities
  • Design mobile-first, responsive user experiences for content-heavy websites, landing pages, promotional components, and A/B testing initiatives.
  • Translate briefs, business requirements, user needs, and conversion hypotheses into clear, engaging, and performance-oriented design solutions.
  • Prioritize content structure, usability, interactions, visual hierarchy, and conversion on smaller screens before adapting experiences to larger breakpoints.
  • Create and maintain reusable Figma components, templates, and design-system elements to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.
  • Prepare polished designs, prototypes, and clear specifications to support efficient development handoffs.
  • Create logos, infographics, banners, icons, promotional materials, campaign assets, and other visual content supporting digital brands and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct competitor and design research, explore alternative approaches, and make informed decisions based on user needs, business objectives, and performance considerations.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, CRO, SEO, content, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, communicate progress and blockers proactively, and consistently meet agreed deadlines.
  • Review and refine work before delivery, maintaining high standards of visual quality, accessibility, usability, and brand consistency.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, and production while applying strong professional judgment to refine and validate the results.
Requirements
  • Mid-level professional experience in UI/UX, visual, digital, or product design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong mobile-first and conversion-focused design work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, variants, reusable components, and prototyping, along with practical experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first design, responsive behavior, user flows, information architecture, visual hierarchy, spacing, accessibility, and usability principles.
  • Demonstrated graphic and visual design capabilities, including branding, logo design, infographics, promotional materials, campaign assets, and other digital visuals.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements and business objectives into intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills, with the ability to investigate a design challenge, evaluate alternatives, and make informed decisions independently.
  • Experience maintaining consistency with established design systems, accessibility requirements, brand guidelines, and project specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and a critical eye for evaluating and improving design quality before delivery.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, prioritize competing tasks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Figma AI, or similar technologies to enhance research, ideation, and production workflows without compromising originality or design quality.
  • Experience in affiliate marketing, digital media, CRO, or another performance-oriented environment is an advantage.
  • Experience with motion design and Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • A portfolio should demonstrate both UI/UX case studies and polished visual or branding work, with clear evidence of individual contribution and design thinking.
Benefits
  • Flexible work environment built around trust, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Autonomy to organize your schedule and manage your workload effectively.
  • A performance-oriented culture focused on impact and results rather than hours worked.
  • Opportunities to take ownership of meaningful projects and expand your responsibilities as you grow.
  • A development environment that encourages continuous learning, experimentation, and professional growth.
  • Compensation reviews linked to ownership, impact, and contribution.
  • Health insurance available after successful completion of the three-month onboarding period.
  • Opportunities to connect with colleagues through company gatherings and in-person team events.
  • Inclusive environment where curiosity, accountability, honesty, and continuous improvement are valued.
