About the Marketing and Operations Team

The Field Marketing team serves as the bridge between Zipline and the communities we serve, working closely with local Operations teams to build awareness, trust, and adoption of Zipline's delivery service. Through community events, partnerships, sponsorships, customer engagement initiatives, and local activations, the team creates meaningful connections that help bring Zipline's mission to life at the local level.

As a highly collaborative and hands-on team, Field Marketing partners across Marketing, Operations, and external community organizations to understand local needs, strengthen customer relationships, and support market growth. Team members are often on the ground executing events, engaging directly with customers, gathering community insights, and developing strategies that drive awareness and long-term engagement. Together, the team plays a critical role in ensuring Zipline remains a trusted and valued partner in the communities where we operate.

The Role

The Field Marketing Intern will play a critical role in connecting Zipline's operations with the communities we serve, acting as a frontline ambassador to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support market growth. This highly hands-on role will support Zipline's local Operations and Marketing teams in executing community activations, events, partnerships, sponsorships, and customer engagement initiatives that drive awareness and adoption of Zipline deliveries. Responsibilities will include event setup and execution, brand ambassador support, activation planning, community outreach, and customer engagement. Through these efforts, the intern will help Marketing and Operations teams better understand local needs, strengthen engagement strategies, and build meaningful relationships within the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with planning and executing local events, activations and community partnerships.
  • Track event performance metrics and assist with reporting.
  • Help identify opportunities to increase local awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Coordinate with event logistics, setup, breakdown and inventory management.
  • Be the first to lead the charge for boots on the ground" support.

  • Available to work in a hybrid environment, with at least two days per week in-person in our Richardson, Texas Hub.

  • Must be able to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas. Requires transportation (not company provided) and the ability to independently travel to operational sites, events, communities, and partner locations as needed.

What Else You Should Know

This internship is a full-time position, hybrid with two days in person at our Dallas, Texas office. We will host our Fall 2026 interns from September to December. Zipline is unable to sponsor work visas for applicants to this position.
