Job Description

Hickenlooper for Colorado is seeking hardworking individuals for their Fall 2026 Internship Program.

Duration: September 8th, 2026 through November 3rd, 2026. The exact start date is flexible.

Schedule: This is a hybrid position. Applicants should expect some in-person work centered around community outreach in Denver and surrounding areas. Applicants should expect at least 8 hours of work weekly.

Compensation: Hourly and commensurate with local wage requirements

Requirements: Applicants must be based in Colorado and able to work in-person in Denver and surrounding areas. Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. Students of politics and related studies seeking to gain valuable real-world experience on a statewide campaign are preferred. Previous campaign experience, including volunteerism, is desired but not required.

Summary: Hickenlooper for Colorado Campaign Interns will gain work experience with all aspects of the campaign, meet numerous Colorado elected officials, and learn about careers in campaigns and politics from senior leadership across the Hickenlooper organization. Throughout this internship, participants will complete meaningful projects that will make them an integral part of the campaign and provide them with the opportunity to learn from an experienced statewide campaign team.
