Event Coordinator - Woman's New Life Clinic

Woman’s New Life Clinic is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of our two signature fundraising events in Baton Rouge:

  • Born to Run – Fall 5K & ½-Mile Fun Run
  • Saved in Hope – Spring Fundraising Brunch

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys project management, event planning, volunteer leadership, and creating meaningful experiences that inspire generosity and support life-affirming healthcare for women.

As the Event Coordinator, you’ll serve as the project manager for both signature fundraising events by:

  • Planning and managing event timelines from start to finish.
  • Coordinating venues, vendors, catering, rentals, registration, and event logistics.
  • Recruiting, training, and leading volunteer committees.
  • Managing event budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Collaborating with the Development and Communications teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Leading event setup, day-of operations, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Building strong relationships with volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and community partners.

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Exceptionally organized with outstanding project management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • One or more years of experience coordinating events, nonprofit programs, hospitality, or project management.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers or committees preferred.
  • Experience with event registration software, vendor management, budgeting, or road race logistics is a plus.

This is a part-time position (approximately 15–20 hours per week). Work hours are generally Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with increased flexibility and occasional evenings and weekends required during the weeks leading up to each event and on event days.
