FalconTek, a Veteran-owned business, is expanding its team to provide essential mail-order pharmacy services to our nation’s veterans. We are actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Second Shift who will play a critical role in preparing and dispensing mail-order medical prescriptions. Qualifications:

  • Must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Current Certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB), OR
    • Minimum of six (6) months of work experience as a pharmacy technician, OR
    • Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or have a GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to:
    • Lift up to 50 pounds and twist or stoop.
    • Push or pull up to 150 pounds using a rolling cart or pallet jack.
    • Stand or sit for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to meet production and accuracy standards established by the facility.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols and meet all safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work required regular and overtime hours as needed by the facility.

Tasks:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications, maintaining detailed records.
  • Package, label, and distribute prescribed medications.
  • Manage drug and supply inventories, including stock rotation and expiration date checks.
  • Stock medications in automated devices and designated storage areas.
  • Operate and perform basic maintenance on pharmacy automation equipment.
  • Use scanning equipment and computer systems to identify drugs by name, strength, and NDC number.
  • Clean equipment cells and handle hazardous medications in accordance with safety protocols.
