Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced attorney to join our growing practice serving older adults and people with disabilities in all aspects of estate and long-term care planning. We have five locations: Quincy, Danvers, Framingham, Lexington, and Hyannis

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client consultations to assess legal needs and develop appropriate strategies
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and probate filings
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and compassionate client service
  • Represent clients in probate and guardianship proceedings if necessary
  • Stay up to date on changes in estate and elder law regulations
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files and meet all required deadlines
  • Provide thoughtful and tailored legal advice with sensitivity to the unique needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and their families

Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years of experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail and professionalism
  • A client-centered mindset and the ability to work with individuals with empathy and respect
  • Should be a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA)
