Auto Technician Wanted! 

Company: Faithful Hands Mobile

We are looking to hire a dedicated automotive technician. We are looking for an individual who is hard-working, equitable, and dependable. Here is a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities you would be required to fulfill for this role, although it is not exhaustive these are the main components of the position:

Hard Skills Required:

An ideal automotive technician will be, have, and do the following:

  • Follow industry-standard testing & diagnostic procedures to diagnose and solve vehicle malfunctions efficiently
  • Consistently cultivate a clean, safe working environment
  • Perform baseline auto care and routine maintenance tasks such as changing the oil, checking the fluid levels, and rotating tires.
  • Accurately test the functionality levels of various parts and systems including certain electrical and electronic systems with the ability to perform repairs including brakes and steering systems, transmissions, and fuel components, cooling components, and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling
  • Ability to change, balance, and install tires. 

Soft Skills Required:

An ideal automotive technician will be, have, and do the following:

  • Prepared to work on additional certifications as needed, as well as a willingness to learn specific tasks with hands-on training.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with the Service Advisor about the status of vehicle repairs, any required parts, and the level and potential time windows associated with labor.
  • Properly able to explain the nature of automotive repairs and issues to customers and employees in a non-technical way.
  • Uphold our values at Faithful Hands Mobile. 
  • Analytical skills required to assess situations and take appropriate actions as needed

Additional Qualifications:

An ideal automotive technician will be, have, and do the following:

  • Must Possess a valid state driver's license
  • High school diploma and/or equivalent education
  • Strong customer service skills including sales
  • Situational awareness
