📍 Role Details
Status: Full Time (Exempt)
Location: Tampa, FL
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: No
🩺 What You'll Do:
As an FCN Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in shaping and supporting community-based health initiatives:
🤝 Serve as a liaison between the healthcare system, faith communities, and the broader community
🌱 Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of FCN programs
👩‍⚕ Recruit, train, and guide paid and volunteer Faith Community Nurses
🧘 Promote holistic care-addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being
📊 Assess community health needs and coordinate wellness screenings & education events
🎤 Deliver engaging presentations to nurses, clergy, and community groups
🗂 Maintain program data and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
🤲 Build strong partnerships with congregations and community organizations
🏥 Coordinate care for patients in the FCN Transitional Care Program
🚗 Travel between facilities and community events as needed
➕ Take on additional responsibilities that support the mission
Role Requirements:
🎓 Education: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
📜 Certifications: Active RN license + BLS certification
💼 Experience: At least 3 years of direct patient care
💻 Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
📚 Commitment to growth-complete BLS Instructor Training within 6 months
