What you will be responsible for
As the ADS Risk Performance & Attribution (RPA), Managing Director :
  • Strategic Intent - Primary goal is to develop and commercialize a service model for Risk Analytics and Market Data Operational Control Framework which is interoperable with 3rd party risk vendors, 3rd party OMS providers, 3rd party IBOR providers, and the Alpha Platform
  • The position will sit within ADS and report to the ADS Market Data Practice, Managing Director.
  • The role will be responsible for the management and commercialisation of the Alpha RPA proposition and client oversight.
  • The Managing Director will be responsible for developing a service model covering all use cases in the Alpha model - to include and not limited to : integrating RPA (ex-ante/ex-post) outcomes with CRIMS; ADP; external OMS; Alpha Performance Services and integrations with Alpha RPA product partners.
  • The role will lead the practice in 2 dimensions :
    • The operating and servicing model to support Alpha integrations of RPA with Alpha product partners - Axioma/Factset/MSCI/BBG Port as well as the functioning of CR Analytics
    • The operating and servicing model to deliver performance ready data to Alpha product partners such as Factset/MSCI/ BBG Perform as well as the functioning of Alpha NG Performance (Opturo).
  • For both dimensions above - the role will be required to participate in the development of the product (technology) integration with these business partners to ensure the success of the Alpha e2e integration, have detailed awareness of the product integration design.
  • The Managing Director will be expected to influence Alpha product partners to achieve a commercial and risk aware e2e solution.
  • The role will work closely with Alpha/STT business development partners to ensure practice capabilities are clearly articulated and support business development activities
  • The Managing Director will develop and maintain a client facing commercial terms sheet.
  • The role will stay informed of more general Alpha product changes (eg Alpha EDM) and lead the impact assessment and response to these changes
  • The role will lead the discussions with the Alpha RPA Product teams and set the quarterly/annual development agenda and budget with the CRD/Alpha Product Leads.
  • The role will enforce the utilisation of the Alpha Standard Documentation. Work with relevant teams to develop and maintain the ASIS and other relevent practice standards.
  • Partner with broader State Street organization to provide solutions in support of any new client requirements that are extension of the standard or in some select cases a client specific bespoke solution
  • Lead the deployment of AI opportunities to the benefit of clients and Alpha servicing teams.

  • Deep experience in Risk Performance and Attribution - including servicing complex FO use cases for Start of Day decision making across a range of asset classes/security types.
  • Extensive experience with Financial Services data domains - Security Reference Master, Positions, Transactions, Cash, Performance, Analytics
  • Must have demonstrated success in Practice/Product management
  • Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Service Catalogue, Data Lineage tools, Operational Dash boards, Process Monitoring tools
  • Working knowledge in Azure cloud platforms and Snowflake
  • Knowledge about internal and external integrations, triage issues and implement/recommend solutions to data problems and anomalies

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in the field of computer science, data management or other financial services technical field
  • CFA qualifications required.
  • 15+ years in risk/analytics/performance - data management, product and market data roles and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success in supporting fund/risk/performance management functions across equity, fixed income and alternate asset classes for large scale asset managers.

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
