Job Duties:
Manage and lead a furniture and cabinet manufacturing program. In this role, you will set strategic goals, handle budgets, and oversee daily factory production using your own judgment with minimal supervision.
You will oversee the daily manufacturing and repair of all furniture and cabinets. This includes creating production schedules, setting priority tasks, and establishing quality standards to meet output targets. You are also responsible for checking raw materials, monitoring supply levels, and ordering new stock. Additionally, you will track machinery maintenance, coordinate equipment repairs, and manage the installation of new factory hardware.
Development of longterm program goals, operational guidelines, and organizational rules is a key part of this position. Financial duties include preparing comprehensive budget requests and managing productivity reports or official correspondence. Serving as the main link connecting factory staff, executive management, and external customers is also required.
Supervision of personnel workflows, assignment of daily tasks, and conducting performance reviews are essential responsibilities. When complex issues arise, partnering with team leaders to troubleshoot and resolve them is necessary.
Routine inspections are conducted to ensure all operations strictly follow agency policies, state laws, and federal regulations. Maintaining complete accountability and security for all tools, machinery, and equipment is mandatory. Finally, the role requires maintaining facility safety and acting quickly to manage any critical incidents or emergencies.

Thirty semester hours from a college may be substituted for each year of experience on a year for year basis for a maximum substitution of two years.
