Location: Hauppauge, NY 11788 | Full-Time | On-Site

Royal Apparel is seeking an experienced Domestic Production Manager to oversee our U.S. apparel production operations from cutting through sewing, finishing, and final quality control.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for maintaining quality, production efficiency, schedules, and consistency across both our in-house cutting operation and outside sewing contractors.

Location & Commute Requirement

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hauppauge, NY 11788. The Production Manager will work directly with our in-house cutting operation and coordinate with outside production partners, making regular on-site presence essential.

Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of Hauppauge, NY, or be prepared to relocate at their own expense.

This is not a remote or hybrid position. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Hauppauge, NY on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete domestic production process from cutting, sewing, finishing, and final quality inspection.
  • Manage and supervise in-house cutting operations, ensuring accurate cutting, proper marker utilization, and adherence to production specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage outside sewing contractors, ensuring they meet Royal Apparel's quality standards, production requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor quality at every stage of production, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions.
  • Review samples, first production runs, and finished goods to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Work closely with the production, technical, and operations teams to resolve construction, fit, and quality issues.
  • Track production schedules and ensure orders remain on schedule.
  • Maintain strong communication with contractors regarding quantities, workmanship, deadlines, and quality expectations.
  • Inspect work in progress and finished garments for sewing, cutting, measurements, construction, and overall workmanship.
  • Develop and maintain consistent production and quality-control procedures.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate production status to management.
  • Ensure contractors consistently follow Royal Apparel's standards and specifications.
