DescriptionPosition SummaryAs a project manager in our signage department you will work consult with relationship manager, product engineers and customers on best solutions for signage needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists in the coordination of site surveys including arranging timing, recording accurate measurements, taking thorough photographs, documenting necessary details to accurately quote and produce a jobAssists in coordination of the creation of preliminary artwork and mockups used to estimate projects and submit to vendors for outside purchase and service estimatesAssist in the coordination of site surveys including arranging timing, recording accurate measurements, taking thorough photographs, documenting necessary details to accurately quote and produce a jobCreate and respond to requests for bid and large-scale proposalsEnter information into software systems for the purposes of maintaining client and prospect records and building client quotes and orders accuratelyGenerate and traffic necessary paperwork to facilitate communication and project trafficking between departments and with vendors and clientsAssist in the sourcing and purchasing of sign-related supplies, finished goods and services from outside vendors including the trafficking of necessary paperwork and art filesAssist the signage installation teams (internal and external) by facilitating client communication and internal and external resources to bring projects to completion.Coordinate with other production areas of the company for large scale projects that may include print, promotional, apparel, or digital deliverables in conjunction with a large-scale signage project (this might include branded space or event type signage such as grand openings or tradeshow/event type projects).Assist in the staging, packaging and preparation of projects leaving the building via shipping or installation to ensure all projects leave the building complete and in good condition. This could include photographing completed projects to make a record of the final condition of Strategic Factory's work.Apply experience and skill set to improve the workflow and efficiency of any process related to the sales, production, distribution or installation of signage projects.RequirementsQualifications3-5 year's experience working in a signage or commercial construction environmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordExperience managing large scale projectsExperience pulling permits and gathering required information from county or public officesUnderstand the capabilities of the internal production equipment and common vendorsHigh attention to detailStrong customer service skillsManage client expectations and team efforts to accomplish end goalsMust be respectful, energetic, trustworthy, detail-oriented and highly motivatedMust apply feedback to improve performanceMust be computer literate and comfortable working in a high-volume environmentMust use time efficiently by setting goals and objectivesMust be highly comfortable consulting with clients and making recommendations for their projects as a print professionalWhy Work for Strategic Factory?Financial stability.
