We are the exclusive providers for custom spaces for every Lowes and Costco in Indiana. In addition, we work with builders, interior design firms, commercial businesses, and a wide variety of retail clients. At Closet Factory we design, sell, manufacture, and install our custom products. We do it all from closets, pantries, laundry rooms, garages, home offices, win rooms, entertainment centers, and more!
Are you an experienced woodworker or looking for an apprenticeship to learn? We are looking for all levels from hobbyists to experienced cabinet makers. Join our growing team where you can enjoy 40 hours a week! Positions start at $16 per hour and up to $21 per hour depending upon experience.
Job Summary:
Closet Factory is seeking a skilled Factory Team Member to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Factory Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of custom closets and home organization systems. This is a full-time, hourly position, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical skills and contribute to the success of our company.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $16-$21 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, eligible employees will also receive benefits such as dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the manufacturing of custom closets and home organization systems according to design specifications.
  • Operate various tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble cabinets, drawers, shelves, and other components.
  • Assist in cutting, sanding, and finishing materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Maintain strict quality control on all of your work
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or materials as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project progress and any potential delays.
  • Ability to work overtime (some Saturday's) as demand requires.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret design plans.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in custom cabinetry or woodworking is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
