Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Support Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the day. This position takes place within a professional early childhood center serving children and families within our community.
This role supports the daily operations of our facility by assisting with cleaning, laundry, and general building organization so our classrooms and shared spaces remain safe and ready for use.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in keeping spaces clean and orderly, and works well independently.

Schedule:
  • This position can be full-time or part-time
  • Monday through Friday shift options between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
  • Flexible scheduling may be available within these hours depending on availability and center needs.
  • No nights or weekends required.
Facility Support Assistants main responsibilities includethe following tasks to help keep the building running smoothly throughout the day:
Cleaning & Sanitizing

  • Cleaning and sanitizing eating areas after meal and snack service
  • Wiping tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces
  • Sweeping and mopping eating and common areas
  • Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms and shared spaces
Laundry
  • Washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry such as bedding, towels, and classroom linens
  • Returning clean laundry to the appropriate areas
Facility Support
  • Resetting rooms and shared areas so they are clean and ready for use
  • Restocking cleaning and paper supplies as needed
  • Emptying trash and maintaining orderly common spaces
  • Assisting with general cleaning and facility tasks throughout the building
Physical Requirements:
  • Participating in the active side of this role
  • Standing and moving throughout the entire facility
  • Bending, lifting, and carrying supplies / laundry
  • Lifting up to approximately 30 pounds
