Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

The Role

As Facility Assistant II, you will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operation of the facility.

Day to Day
  • Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments
  • Collecting, testing, and recording grain samples
  • Exercising competency in grading commodities
  • Operate machinery with confidence and precision
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately blend fertilizer
  • Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe & compliant working environment
  • Performing exceptional customer service duties
  • Other duties as required
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years’ experience in a general labour job, preferably in agricultural and/or farming
  • Knowledge of hydraulic machinery & electrical considered an asset
  • Class 1 driver’s license
  • Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to work within environment subject to dust and allergens
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Flexible work schedule
