Overview

Role: School Facility Manager

Join Campus Services Group (CSG) as a Facility Manager! In this leadership role, you’ll oversee all campus and facility operations, including Facilities, Grounds, Custodial Services, and Project Management for a day school in your area. You’ll manage a team and coordinate with outside contractors, ensuring the campus is clean, safe, and well-maintained. If you have experience in facilities management and a commitment to creating a well-functioning learning environment, we’d love to have you on our team!


Responsibilities

  • Oversee campus facilities, grounds, custodial services, and project management.
  • Manage a team of staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring performance, training, and development.
  • Ensure clear communication on facilities, construction, and safety projects within the school community.
  • Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, review invoices, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to standards.
  • Manage sustainability initiatives and collaborate with school departments on on-campus events.
  • Oversee CMMS to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities, or Construction Management (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in facility/building/property management or construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role (educational setting experience preferred).
  • Expertise in at least two technical trades (plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, roofing, HVAC, or other building trades).
  • Basic computer skills (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required.
  • Ability to interact positively with the client, staff, and the public.
  • Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
  • Must provide a criminal background check.
