We are seeking a full-time Predictive Maintenance Analyst to independently diagnose machinery issues and communicate findings in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be based in the Columbia, SC area, and will be servicing industrial facilities within the region.

Role Description


This is a full-time position located in the Columbia, SC, with flexibility for some remote work as a Predictive Maintenance Analyst. Once settled in your role, you will take responsibility for a group of industrial facilities and service them in regular intervals. You also may be asked to perform various field services within your region of operation. The role involves day-to-day tasks that include:


  • Regular interaction with customers and scheduling of your on-site services
  • On-site data collection and predictive analysis, according to company standards
  • Remote surveillance and analysis, where wireless systems are present
  • Isolate and identify failure modes in industrial equipment
  • Create analytical summary reports, according to company standards
  • Communicate findings and produce deliverables to customers in timely and professional way
  • Maintaining customer relationships with appropriate on-site contacts
  • Assist in training and mentoring of new employees
  • Perform equipment walk downs and gather information when requested
  • Perform one-off field services when asked by customers or company


Qualifications and Competencies


  • Vibration Analysis or other predictive skills are an asset (Infrared, U/S, Oil, etc.)
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret results and make recommendations
  • Experience in troubleshooting and condition monitoring
  • Good understanding of machinery operation
  • Experience working in an industrial setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Certification in Vibration Analysis, CBM, or related fields is an important asset
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is a plus
  • Applicants who do not possess previous vibration analysis experience must have technical education from a post-secondary institution such as university, college, or qualified institute.
