Facilities Electrical Engineer
Minimum 5 Years experience as a Facilities Electrical Engineer
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Electrical Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Warsaw, Indiana. The ideal candidates should have a strong understanding high and medium voltage electrical. A background with power and lighting distribution and a knowledge of substation electrical is desired.
Requirements of the Facilities Electrical Engineer
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • 3 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within facilities, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with low and medium voltage power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), PLCs, and automation controls.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar tools for electrical design.
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainability best practices is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities of the Facilities Electrical Engineer
  • Design, review, and maintain facility electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Conduct site assessments, electrical load analysis, and energy efficiency evaluations.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain single-line diagrams, as-built drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Manage and coordinate electrical work with internal maintenance teams and external contractors.
  • Lead electrical components of facility improvement, expansion, and capital projects.
  • Support reliability programs and preventive maintenance planning for electrical systems.
  • Identify and implement energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
  • Provide technical support for power quality, grounding, and emergency power systems
