What is face mask manufacturing?

Face mask manufacturing is the process of producing protective masks, such as surgical masks, N95 respirators, and cloth masks, on a large scale for medical, industrial, or general public use. This process involves sourcing raw materials like non-woven fabrics, assembling multiple layers, and using specialized machinery to cut, shape, and sterilize the masks. Quality control checks are essential to ensure the masks meet safety and filtration standards. The demand for face mask manufacturing increased significantly during health crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.

What are five types of manufacturing jobs?

In face mask manufacturing, common jobs include production line workers who assemble masks, quality control inspectors who check for defects, machine operators who run manufacturing equipment, maintenance technicians who service machinery, and packaging staff responsible for preparing masks for distribution.
