What is a fabrication lab assistant?

Fabrication Lab Assistants are support staff who help manage and operate fabrication laboratories, often found in educational institutions or research centers. They assist students and faculty with the use of equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and other fabrication tools. Their responsibilities may include maintaining equipment, organizing materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing technical guidance to users. Fabrication Lab Assistants play a crucial role in fostering a safe and productive environment for hands-on learning and prototyping.
