The following are intended as general illustrations of the Form Fabrication Specialist position and are not all-inclusive for this position.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install forms, molds, and templates according to project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and fit wood and composite materials with precision.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a straight mast forklift to transport materials, forms, and components throughout the work area.
  • Load, unload, and stage materials while adhering to safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
  • Perform layout work and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect completed forms and fabricated components for quality, fit, and structural integrity.
  • Repair, modify, and maintain forms, molds, and templates as needed.
  • Mentor and train junior fabricators as needed, providing guidance on fabrication techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet project schedules and deadlines.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Track materials used and document completed work as required.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting fabricated forms and materials.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment used in fabrication processes.
