We are looking for a Supervisor, Quality Engineer to support the manufacture and delivery of some of the most advanced and highly utilized aircraft technology in aviation.

This role will be located onsite in Foley, AL.

What You Will Do

  • Supervises a team of Quality Control Inspectors. Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members and supports Real Time Problem Resolution (RTPR).

  • Must be able to qualify and obtain a Quality Inspection stamp AS02 per Collins procedure EEP 1009.

  • Participate in RCCA and the 8D methodology 

  • Explains policies, practices and procedures related to Quality.

  • Supports Inspection department in properly documenting Non-Conforming Product Reports (IPU, QN).

  • Ensures Quality Cardinal Rules Compliance.

  • Supports the Material Review Board (MRB) and Non-Conforming material management process. Able to qualify as MRB PR and QA.

  • Supports Audits to the Quality Management System (QMS) based on Aerospace industry (AS9100, EASA, FAA).

  • Supports Foreign Object Damage (FOD) eradication programs.

  • Interprets data from applicable inspection tools or equipment’s.

  • Supports production in regards to all quality aspect.

  • Perform other duties related to quality compliance.

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years in quality assurance and/or control with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.

  • Experience in manufacturing Industry.

Qualifications We Prefer   

  • Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) based on Aerospace industry (AS9100, EASA, FAA).

  • Experience in APQP / PPAP

  • Experience in Aerospace industry.

  • Curious with a bias for action.

  • Detail oriented and attention to accuracy.

  • Able to multitask and adapt to changing work environment.

  • Leading people and managing team.

  • Good Interpersonal skills.

  • Intermediate/advanced computer skills using MS Office products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
