Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Assembly & Test Technician to join a leading Company located in the Tempe, AZ surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

This role is responsible for conducting standardized tests on a wide range of aviation equipment. The technician will carefully record and analyze test results to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform industry-specific tests on aviation equipment in accordance with established protocols.
  • Record detailed observations and analyze test data to identify performance trends and potential issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine testing processes and improve equipment reliability.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of aviation safety guidelines and best practices.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as calipers, drop mics, bore gauges, and inside/outside micrometers.
  • Experience using torque wrenches and working with mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision while accomplishing tasks with limited experience and judgment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, including creativity and independent thinking as needed.
  • Ability to lift more than 30 lbs and work in environments involving physical risks associated with testing.
