Description

As a 3rd shift Quality Specialist, the Individual is responsible for Quality functions relating to the waterjet, abrasive waterjet, shot peen, grit blast and thermal spray machines for processing components in PROGRESSIVE'S Process Services Department. This position is classified as safety-sensitive for FAA purposes. 

  •  Perform all Duties of the Quality/Inspector position
  • Support training of Quality Inspectors.
  • Responsible for accuracy of quality information.
  • Conduct inspection Audits.
  • Publish Quality Reports (Pareto charts, SPC Charts, ...)
  • Updating/maintaining control sheets and work instructions.
  • Work with production to troubleshoot quality issues.
  • Support receiving/shipping product.
  • Support Quality Engineer in Process/Quality improvements.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent. College Degree desired.
  • Computer literate.
  • SPC and Lean experience desired.
  • Materials knowledge and uses.
  • Manufacturing procedure background.
  • Print reading skills.
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain HiLo Certification.
