Security Guard - Prior security experience with F80 License.

Siena House is a 27-room facility that has served pregnant women and moms with children under two who are experiencing homelessness since 1990.
In need of a full time Security Guard for overnight and weekend hours with a F80-License.
Essential job functions:
  • Maintain security and order: Monitoring entrances and sitting at front desk managing client access and exits, supervising dining room during meals, and conducting regular rounds. Observe client behavior and encourage compliance with policies.
  • Incident response and documentation: Responding to incidents and emergencies, de-escalating situations, providing assistance in emergencies, alerting staff to clients in crisis, and thoroughly documenting all incidents and suspicious activity. Maintaining and updating the hourly entrance in the security log and preserving confidentiality are a must as well as a professional approach with clients at all times.
  • Support and collaboration: Working with other shelter staff, assisting visitors and clients, performing administrative duties such as monitoring video surveillance, collaborating with staff, and participating in required training.
