Job Summary:
Ask IT Consulting Inc. is a minority-owned enterprise backed by a $500 million Microtek group company, providing a blend of technology, business consulting, and outsourcing services. They are seeking a VMware Engineer to support systems in an enterprise environment, focusing on virtualization technologies and Active Directory management.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Active Directory
โ€ข Linux
โ€ข Powershell
โ€ข Python
โ€ข VDI
โ€ข VMware
โ€ข Windows Server
Preferred:
โ€ข Knowledge of providing systems support in an enterprise, distributed environment
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal communication skills
โ€ข Experience in working with priorityโ€led initiatives and developing action plans for approval in a change management environment
โ€ข Experience with servers in virtualized environments. VDI a plus.
โ€ข Deep experience with virtualization technologies including VMware
โ€ข Familiarity with the fundamentals of scripting languages such as Powershell. Python a plus.
โ€ข Experience working with AD and LDAP services.
โ€ข Experience working with SSL certificate management
โ€ข Experience in monitoring tools, such as Solarwinds, for virtualization environment
