Job Title: Engineer - Security (IAM)
Contract To Hire (US Citizen or GC ONLY)
Tampa, FL
JOB SUMMARY
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, designing technical architectures and processes, and implementing IAM product components. These will include customer SAML SSO integrations as well as internal design and architecture of internal IAM solutions and advancements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Gathers use cases and analysis from business & technical stakeholders and captures in a formal requirements document
• Analyzes integration requirements, proposes appropriate integration strategies, documents strategy and assumptions and transitions work to supporting teams:
o Investigates and analyzes to ensure that full and complete technical and business requirements are received
o Determines best SSO approach and authentication method
o Configures PoC / Development environment solution and coordinates testing with requesting team
o Provides design and technical documentation and/or examples of integration methods/tools to requesting teams.
• Ensures that additional load created by large projects does not negatively impact existing platform
• Is regularly enlisted to resolve technical authentication issues for less experienced staff
• Works across project teams to ensure optimal use of resources by defining, documenting, and implementing the following:
o Conceptual designs consisting of security strategy, use case analysis, application interfaces, and secure authentication solutions.
o A structure and design framework including applications architecture overview; end-user access; hardware, software and network environment; and methodologies and standards.
o Provide coaching, and sharing technical and business knowledge as required.
• Provides support to internal users and support staff through integration process:
o Investigates application incidents for missing or incorrect functionality or configuration changes.
o Applies resolutions, leading to timely, error free authentication mechanism for application users.
• Researches, assesses and facilitates the adoption of new authentication technologies as required
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Experience administering Federation Services and Single-Sign-On technologies
• 3+ years of experience with authentication security technologies such as F5 APM & Ping Federate
• Working knowledge of Information Security concepts and practices
• Experience administering Windows server systems
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Must have excellent communications skills and be able to support users
• Must have strong organizational and time-management skills
• Must have the ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor and demonstrate a desire to learn

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors in Information Technology or Information Security or equivalent experience
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certification
