Title: Network Security (F5) Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: Long term
Rate: $ 55-60/hr
Key Responsibilities
  • Works closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and outside vendors to research, design, test, evaluate, and select network solutions to secure and protect the infrastructure
  • Deploys and manages network equipment, as well as load balancers, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Monitors networks and network security systems; tracks, manages, and alerts appropriate parties of vulnerabilities, attacks and other security issues.
  • Recommends and implements policies and procedures to ensure adherence to security standards.
  • Assists with high level troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Competencies Required
  • Demonstrated success in managing, analyzing and solving complex network technical issues.
  • Technical knowledge of security configurations, log analysis, intrusion detection and mitigation.
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
