The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.****THE ROLE****Insomniac is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support various key operations for F1 apparel including month-end close, budgeting and forecast, reporting and analysis, and strategy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have knowledge of GAAP, have strong communication skills and be highly organized. This position reports to the Controller.****RESPONSIBILITIES***** Perform month-end close tasks (journal entries, inventory analysis, event flash, etc.) in accordance with GAAP and SOX requirements* Oversee financial statement management, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for product licensing for all sales channels for F1 apparel* Drive results to improve profitability through variance analysis, cost control, and strategic planning* Key strategic business partner to leadership team by advising on growth initiatives, margin pricing strategies, and ROI* Lead annual budget process and long-range planning forecast* Manage all aspects of the P&L by tracking revenue and costs* Analyze key operational metrics* Develop process improvements to streamline reporting, forecast, and licensing royalty reporting* Supervisor of accounting coordinator* Assist with ad hoc projects****QUALIFICATIONS***** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA a plus* 8-10+ years of experience in accounting or/and finance in CPG and retail required* Experience mentoring staff and leading cross-functional teams* Advanced technical skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools* Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment****WORK ENVIRONMENT***** Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments* Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines**Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.******EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY**** We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
