Description:

Kalitta Charters II specializes in scheduled and on-demand narrow-body freighter operations. In 2003, aviator and NHRA World Champion, Doug Kalitta, set out to provide a safe and reliable solution to a complex logistics problem. Sale and customer service position entails providing aircraft charter quotes for customers requiring on demand air transportation for cargo flights.


The duties and responsibilities consist of and included, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a professional and courteous customer service attitude. Must have good telephone communication skills.
  • Utilize flight following software to generate quotations for customer consideration. Quote requests are received by phone, email, and/or web based bid boards that we monitor 24/7.
  • Track status of aircraft, flight crews, and coordinate booked flights by communicating with aircraft maintenance, crew scheduling, and operations.
  • Coordinate ground handling for aircraft along with any customs accommodations needed for flights.
  • Collaborate daily with flight coordination team to determine aircraft rates and availability.
  • Provide support to flight following and flight crews when needed.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education
  • Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license

Experience:

  • Customer service experience/good telephone communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and internet proficiency
  • Candidate must be able to read, write understand English
  • Must be proficient in basic math. Skills that help determine the amount/size of freight that will fit into different types of aircraft.
  • Aviation experience is a plus but not needed to apply for this position.

Shift requirements:

  • Must be available to work full time and work overtime when needed
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays. We are open 24/7
  • Must be available for assigned shifts and realize that assigned shifts can be rearranged
  • THE AVAILABLE SHIFT AT THIS TIME IS A 3PM TO 3AM, 4 DAYS ON AND 4 DAYS OFF
