Shift: RN, 36 hours per week, first shift in PACU

Position Overview:

Our nursing staff operates within collaborative settings alongside robust interdisciplinary teams, emphasizing a patient-centered care approach in a richly diverse environment. Under the guidance and general oversight of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse employs evidence-based practices in alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and directives from the medical team. Utilizing their knowledge and skills, the registered nurse applies the nursing process to create a care plan that addresses the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of both patients and their families. In this position, you will engage with patients in a dynamic Ambulatory Surgery center catering to the outpatient demographic.


Qualifications
  • Active Connecticut RN License.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of pertinent experience.
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Seeking an individual with leadership qualities who is eager to undertake projects and responsibilities as needed by the department.
