Bring order and structure to structured and unstructured data and perform data modeling, architecture, and adhere to client and EY architecture standards. Facilitate internal client approvals of the arch standards, while adhering to leading data management practices (i.e. referential integrity) in a manner that is accessible to clients and other stakeholders to solve multiple and complex business problems. Lead big-data problem solving to collect, analyze, and present findings and solutions, leading junior team members, and working with a wide variety of clients to deliver technology consulting services. Serve as the go-to resource for understanding clients’ problems through data gathering and analysis. Solve complex analytical problems in an effort to bring data to insights and enable the use of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at scale for clients. Drive efforts to design, architect, and develop solutions to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets to exceed business requirements, leveraging client data platforms as needed and recommending and building new data platforms/solutions. Participate in business development and knowledge growth opportunities to strengthen aptitude to propose solutions that will better enable clients to navigate the complex world of AI and AI-ready data.


Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long‑term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.


Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field and 4 years of work experience.


Must have 4 years of experience in data modeling, architecture and data engineering methods.


Must have 3 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the following cloud platforms:


  • Azure
  • Amazon
  • Google

Must have 4 years of experience in navigating database models to build data sets for analytics and model training and development.


Must have 2 years of experience in the end‑to‑end lifecycle of discovery and requirements definition, solution architecture, redesigning, building, and deploying data engineering solutions that enable value for the client.


Must have 3 years of experience with data manipulation tools and libraries (e.g. SQL, Pandas, Spark, or similar).


Must have 2 years of experience with containerization and scaling models as well as integrating models and feedback from downstream consumption systems.


Must have 2 years of experience directly managing technical teams.


Requires travel up to 60%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
