What You Will Do

The Global Commercial & Marketing Manager leads marketing strategy, strategic customer relationships, and sales pipeline development across all channels. This role partners closely with the Global Trading to maximize integrated value and supports third-party and midstream opportunities to grow earnings in line with the NGL Strategy. This position manages a global team comprising revenue management, market planning, and commercial sales. The Commercial & Marketing team is a core component of the Global NGL Business, enabling end-to-end value chain performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the global Marketing Plan
  • Own and grow commercial (wholesale, unbranded, B2B) customer relationships
  • Identify and support logistics opportunities in collaboration with NGL Business, Trading/Origination, and Midstream Business Development
  • The team is responsible for defining market fundamentals, supply/demand balances, target markets, channel strategy, customer segmentation, and pricing/contract approaches—all captured within the Marketing Plan.
  • This work establishes clear accountability between the Global NGL Business and Global Trading, ensuring optimized ownership of both existing and new business development to maximize value.
  • The team also leads identification of molecule and logistics opportunities and supports related project development. While this group identifies and shapes opportunities, contract negotiation and execution remain with Midstream Business Development.
About You
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in oil, gas, and petrochemical
  • Experience in commercial, marketing, origination, or industrial sales roles
  • Experience developing and managing strategic or high-value customer accounts in complex markets
  • Strong sales execution skills with a focus on process improvement and best practices
  • Ability to identify, test, and scale new commercial or market opportunities
  • Working knowledge of value-based selling and pricing strategy development
  • Proven cross-functional leadership with ability to align diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to inform business strategy using customer insights and market trends
  • Experience developing talent and leading high-performing, collaborative teams
