Job description

Welcome to Paradise Quick Stop. We are a Family oriented, well-established organization seeking an experienced Cashier to join our rapidly growing Team!

Convenience Store Cashiers are experts in creating positive Guest experiences through service, providing insights, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store.

Full and Part Time Openings Available. Must be able to work various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a smile as they enter the location.
  • Collect and process cash, credit and digital payments using the store point of sale system. Assist guests with questions or price discrepancies.    
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, connecting with each and every customer.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to boost store sales and increase guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate transactions and accurate sales at the end of the shift.
  • Follow all state and federal regulations for gas, alcohol, and tobacco sales.
  • Assist customers in locating products, resolving concerns or providing other information.
  • Act with integrity and honesty, promoting the culture and values of our Company.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Promote team work and ethics.
  • Maintain a clean and polished appearance and appropriate uniform attire.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers or scanners.·       
  • Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds. ·
