Job description

Welcome to Dossani Paradise Burger King. We are a Family oriented, well-established organization seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our rapidly growing Team!

The Fast Food Shift Manager will provide a wide range of duties to provide exceptional service and support to guests and staff. The Shift Manager is responsible to ensure the effective working of their team over the course of a work shift while working with Restaurant Management and other Team Members to maintain operational standards

and procedures.   

Full and Part Time Openings Available. Must be able to work varied shifts.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage Team Member performance. Delegate tasks to Team Members and set targets and goals to keep team members on track.
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day workflow of Team Members and the operational needs of the restaurant.
  • Delegate in a manner that encourages teamwork. Direct, train and motivate Team Members setting the example for ethics and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry guidelines. Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Provide production direction to Team Members.
  • Work with management to achieve store goals, providing hands-on assistance as needed.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring smooth workflow processes.
  • Assist with performance reviews, counseling, recruitment, hiring and/or training as requested.
  • Order and stock supplies. Receive and check deliveries. Unload and stock inventory items.
  • Ensure guest expectations for food, service and cleanliness are met. Act on guest feedback and resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Complete checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory control and scheduling.
  • Identify and report violations of safety, sanitation, security and other company policies to restaurant management. Put short-term solutions in place while issues are being addressed.
  • Prompt and regular attendance on required shifts. Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain a clean and polished appearance. Adhere to uniform and dress code policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Leadership and team effectiveness mentality.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • In depth knowledge of all state and federal regulations for the fast food and restaurant industry, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to both lead and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and resolve issues with tact.
  • Honest, Respectful, Trustworthy and Loyal.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing required.
Education and Experience:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous fast food restaurant or similar restaurant experience preferred.
  • On-the-job training provided.
