Join Our Team

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced PVC extrusion manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and driving continuous improvement through a strong Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and effective use of our CMMS system.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop the Team

  • Supervise and coach a team of maintenance technicians
  • Assign and prioritize daily maintenance activities
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Support skill development and training initiatives

Drive Equipment Reliability

  • Lead troubleshooting and repair of extrusion lines and supporting equipment
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Minimize downtime and improve overall equipment performance

Own the Preventive Maintenance Program

  • Execute and continuously improve a robust PM program
  • Ensure high PM completion rates and effectiveness
  • Analyze equipment data to improve reliability strategies

Manage the CMMS System

  • Oversee work order creation, prioritization, and closure
  • Generate and manage purchase orders for maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking and data integrity
  • Monitor KPIs such as backlog, downtime, and PM compliance

Control Spare Parts & Costs

  • Manage inventory of critical spare parts
  • Coordinate purchasing and vendor support
  • Drive cost efficiency and standardization

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience in plastics or extrusion operations preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with extrusion equipment (preferred)
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms

Leadership Traits

  • Strong communicator and team builder
  • Problem solver with a focus on root cause and prevention
  • Organized, data-driven, and results-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting (heat, noise, moving equipment)
  • Must be able to lift, climb, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Flexibility to support off-hours or emergency maintenance needs

Shift: Covering first shit 7 - 3:30 with some coverage on 2nd and 3rd shift when needed. 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience in plastics or extrusion operations preferred
