Extreme Networks Engineer Job Number: 26-00894 Use your skills where innovative technology solutions begin. ECLARO is looking for an Extreme Networks Engineer for our client in Branchburg, NJ. ECLARO’s client is a leading technology solutions provider, collaborating with customers to manage their needs and achieve success in their business goals.

Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Extreme Networks Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in configuring Extreme SLX, MXL, and 9920 platforms. This role is critical to supporting ongoing network initiatives and will involve specialized work around packet broker configurations.

The ideal consultant will bring a solid foundation in network engineering and a practical understanding of packet brokers, including platforms such as Keysight, Gigamon, or similar. Responsibilities: Configure and support Extreme Networks SLX, MXL, and 9920 platforms. Implement and maintain packet broker solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams to optimize network visibility and traffic flow. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and packet broker issues. Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed.

Assist with migration or conversion projects as required. Required Qualifications: 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on experience with Extreme Networks (SLX, MXL, 9920).

Strong understanding of packet broker technologies, ideally with experience in Keysight, Gigamon, or similar. Familiarity with network traffic visibility tools and techniques. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Advanced certifications in networking (Extreme Networks, Cisco, etc.). Experience with scripting or automation related to network configurations.

Prior experience in consulting or project-based engineering engagements.
