Job Summary: Pembroke Hill School is searching for energetic and creative individuals to serve as part-time Extended Day Assistants in the Extended Day program. This role supports the faculty and children in our Early Childhood program, with duties including but not limited to supervising and maintaining a fun and safe environment for students, assisting in planning activities, and managing daily tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience working with young children
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: This is a part-time position with multiple shift options available. All positions are Monday-Friday during the school year (August through May), with an option to work in summer camps
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (1 opening)
  • 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (2 openings available)

Compensation: $15-16 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Physical ability to lift, carry and/or hold up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and 50 pounds to waist height
  • Ability to occasionally balance, reach, bend, squat, stoop, or kneel
  • Ability to climb stairs, walk, and occasionally run, if required
