Assignment: 12 weeks 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, either 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, with rotating every other Saturday
Setting: LTC / Mail Order Pharmacy
Travelers: Travelers are welcome to apply

Pay: $58/hour


Position Overview

Seeking experienced Staff Pharmacists to support an LTC mail-order pharmacy in Reno. Pharmacists will dispense medications, provide medication counseling, monitor therapy and drug interactions, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
Counsel patients and healthcare professionals on medications, dosage, side effects, and interactions
Identify and address drug-related problems
Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to established procedures
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff
Maintain appropriate medication and supply inventory
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
Active Nevada Pharmacist License required.
LTC pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong communication and clinical skills.
