Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through physical therapy services in our outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical function and pain levels, explaining findings clearly to patients and their families.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are dynamic and adaptable, considering both short-term recovery and long-term health maintenance.
• Organize daily sessions meticulously, preplanning each treatment to ensure a smooth flow and to facilitate optimal patient engagement.
• Document patient progress diligently in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to hone your clinical skills and stay current with advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on active adults with orthopedic needs, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We aim to forge strong relationships with our patients, understanding their individual needs and empowering them to maintain their health through preventive strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy license issued in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedics or a similar setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for rehabilitation.
