Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services tailored to individual patient needs in an outpatient clinic.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, clearly explaining assessment findings and recommending targeted treatment plans.
• Develop and organize each treatment session to maintain a smooth workflow, documenting progress and adapting plans as necessary.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities, staff meetings, and mentorship to enhance clinical skills.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques, ensuring a full spectrum approach to patient care, including manual therapy methods and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor and report patient progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed to adjust care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Rx Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with active adults dealing with a variety of orthopedic issues, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will emphasize the importance of preventative care and long-term wellness, encouraging patients to adopt and maintain a proactive approach toward their health.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapy license in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with state regulations and professional standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPR is considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
