The Import Office Operations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of freight, supporting both the driving and logistics teams in a fast-paced transportation setting. JOB DETAILS:  FULL TIME, MON - FRI, START TIME OF 0800. SALARY OF $50K, PAID WEEKLY.  MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K ATER 90 DAYS.  PTO AVAILABLEResponsibilities
  • Communicate via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any issues or delays to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments
  • Utilize PC-based systems to track, update, and manage logistics information
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support the overall efficiency and reliability of daily operations
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in trucking or logistics preferred
  • Strong PC skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Dependable, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
