Job description

Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Express/Lube Technician to change oil per manufacturer requirements. You will also be expected to change oil and replace with the correct oil per vehicle specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Must be ready for work in uniform at start of shift.
  • Check and communicate oil level to other teammates.
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, including spare tire.
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
  • Install a new oil drain plug gasket and new oil filter while performing lube, oil and filter change.
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
  • Inspect vehicle after service for fluid leaks.
  • Maintain a clean work station.
  • Clean and maintain facility.
  • Install accessories.
  • Operate Windows based programs.
  • Notify foreman if any additional issues are discovered.
  • Rotate tires (do not use customers wheel lock key, only shop supplied key).
  • Change wiper blades.
  • Tire repair.
  • Tire balance.
  • Remove tires from shop, dispose of in designated disposal area and keep tire area clean.
  • Minimum expectation of labor dollars produced in a pay period (on a 2 person team) $6500.00.
  • Fill out multi point inspection (MPI) forms that record measurements of tires, brakes, and conditions of fluids, belt hoses etc.
  • Pursuant to Nevada Assembly bill 132, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances.

  • 12 months of oil change experienced.
