Job description

**Company Information:**A company in Columbus, Indiana is hiring3rd ShiftIndustrial Electriciansto their team!This is a direct hire opportunity!

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial automation equipment, PLCs, robotics, and electrical control systems.

Industrial Electrician's Pay/Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday / 10:30PM-6:45AM

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade plant electrical systems
  • Work with PLCs, programmable controllers, VFDs, PWM drives, servo motors, and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Install, modify, adjust, and repair electrical components and controls
  • Troubleshoot Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, and other automation systems
  • Support production by responding to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and report potential hazards
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • - 4+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, or automation experience**OR**Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Maintenance Electrician, Mechatronics, or a related field
    • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
    • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques
    • Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems preferred
    • Experience with Fanuc and/or Motoman robotics preferred
    • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
