POSITION SUMMARY
Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Mission Integration, Operations, and Training Engineer who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axiom's EVA Program with xEVAS related operations training products development, flight operations interfacing, model and simulation development, and overall mission integration tasks. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about EVA/Space Suits and takes initiative day-to-day, creating solutions and solving problems. The role requires strong organizational, time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Planning and coordinating daily activities of the AxEVA Program Mission Integration, Operations, and Training team
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining Axiom EVA flight operations training products
  • Working alongside engineering teams to influence design from an operations perspective
  • Aiding S&MA activities and products development from a flight operations perspective
  • Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
  • Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in related field
  • 5-10 years' experience in flight operations, EVA development, EVA engineering, or similar roles

  • Track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges
  • Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results
