Our Motive Power team provides and services batteries used to power forklifts, lift trucks and more! For 100+ years, we’ve helped keep businesses moving. Our Techs are based out of our Dallas TX office and service the greater Dallas-FW area.


Position Overview:


We’re seeking a Motive Power Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys mechanical work, solving problems, and providing excellent service to industrial customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair motive power battery systems and chargers at customer sites.
  • Conduct diagnostics and performance checks on industrial battery equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain service work and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.
  • Travel locally to customer facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in installing, servicing, or related Motive Power batteries and products.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT medical exam.
