SRM Concrete, through its division H&G Explosives, is actively seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Explosives Transportation Operator to become a part of our dynamic team. This crucial role focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of explosives to and from various job sites. While we value previous experience in the explosives industry, we are open to training the right candidates who possess a Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat Endorsement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class B box truck safely, with the opportunity to transition to a dump truck style vehicle upon completion of training.
  • Responsible for the transportation of explosives, adhering strictly to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with job site coordinators and management to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on transportation equipment to guarantee safety and operational effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements associated with the transport of hazardous materials.

Schedule:
  • The job operates on a varying schedule based on delivery schedules, but typically starts around 5-6am. starting typically at 5 am.
  • This position requires a commitment of 50-60 hours per week.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B license.
  • Must have a Hazmat Endorsement.
  • Exhibits a proactive, team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable work ethic, consistently targeting success.
  • Explosives experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Maintains a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrates a history of stable employment without unexplained gaps.
